Pop-up Cafe

I am now opening this every this every Wednesday, and seems to be a big hit. 50p gets you all-day tea or coffee and another 50p gets you a Kit-Kat, choc bar, bag of Crisps or cold drink. What a bargain!! And saves the need to bring a flask.

Wanderer Inland Championships, Bewl Water, 15-17 Sept 2017

Dear fellow Bewl Water Wanderer sailors

After a couple of years, the Wanderer Class Owners Association will return to Bewl Water for the inland national championships in September. Markerstudy and Bewl Sailing Association have been extremely welcoming and supportive, enabling four races over two days, along with participation in the fourth Bart’s Bash that continues to raise the profile of sailing generally and support Sailing for the Disabled.

Alongside the visiting boats we expect to welcome representatives of Hartley Boats and Edge Sails to provide technical advice on dinghy set up and handling. Bewl Sailing Association are offering training for those new to racing on Friday afternoon, 15 September.

With a good number of Wanderers at Bewl, it would be nice to join and support the event, whether as a competitive racer, a social sailor or general supporter of the class.

A draft programme is attached. If you would like more information, please contact me by email below.

I hope to see you in September and on the water at Bewl during the year.
